Another crafstman, and yes artist, I have been pleased to meet is Chacho.
His specialty is the thatched palapa and he may be the only one in Alamos
who is practicing this craft.
He has lived here all his life.
The palapa is finished but there is more to be done on this project.
The work is beautiful...
and the attention to detail is amazing.
Chacho is a master at the natural form in wood.
