El Jardin de Arte

I was lucky enough to able to stop by Jerry's home and gallery the other day.

I was really struck by how nice it was to enter an art filled garden,
and it started me thinking about some of the components
that go into drawing people into a space.

The property is elevated in layers, being on a steep hillside.
This adds visual interest.

And then add the hidden.
What is up ahead?
What is around the corner?

What makes us want to enter a building or garden?

In this case it is Jerry's beautiful water colors.

But then add greenery, particularly in the form of trees,
and mix in water.

Jerry has really created an unusual and intriguing place.

Please step into my office.
