Unconventional Homes

I have been wanting to do a post on this topic
for awhile now and have been collecting photos.
As time goes on I hope to add future posts.

Above is a guest bedroom behind the Black Cat Used Bookstore
and Coffee Bar in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.
A must stop if you are in town and they carry
a couple of different books on the old travel trailers.

We ran across this fellow at the 2009 Rainbow Gathering in New Mexico.

And the coolest part was the greenhouse he built on the back.
It also serves as the shower.
The black ABS drain line on the top is the solar water heater.

Ken and Noelle travel around ( but don't really live in )
this 1963 Cerro Scotty Sportsman pulled by Ken's  Dad's Olds '98.

Ken collects old travel trailers.
We met them at El Dorado Hot Springs in Arizona.

Don't know about this one, but after WWII
some of the aircraft assembly plants
were converted to build aluminum travel trailers.
