Tucson Botanical Gardens

We were in Tucson, Arizona back in early March
and stopped by the Tucson Botanical Gardens.

We had visited here years ago and wanted to see them again.
We were not disappointed.

Of course there are lots of cactus.

Some are native to Arizona
and others are from all over.

And sedums.

Small amounts of water go a long way in the desert.

Nice contrast between the iron work
at the base and old wood for posts.

The Japanese tea house was a real treat.

As well as oriental styles blend with adobe
they also look right at home in a desert setting.

I love these planters.
I am not sure if they are carved stone or concrete.

I can't wait to try this idea for a border.
A great way to recycle glass.
